I hope some of you will be kind enough to post updates to the Malden, Cape, and Valle games today. I am out of pocket this weekend and going nuts this morning because I can't attend any of the games. Buck and Cheesehead, I guess both of you will be at Cape. Please post some updates here. Roll wave or someone in Malden please do the same. I'm in meetings today and being deprived of even listening to online audio. LOL I can always sneak a peak at SEMO ball.

-- Posted by bench warmer on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 3:27 PM
  • Good lord. I've never seen fans who are so insecure. Webb is great, everyone knows that. Just giving Cape a pat on the back for having the year that they did.

-- Posted by Rosen on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 3:31 PM

Webb had over 80 kids on their roster to Capes barely 40. There's a reason they tired out. Webb wasn't as impressive as I thought they were going to be but good enough to beat Cape. Cape has every reason to be proud of the effort today.

  • Rose...."Good lord. I've never seen fans who are so insecure. Webb is great, everyone knows that. Just giving Cape a pat on the back for having the year that they did."

He is just ONE! Please do not paint with such a broad brush.

Central had a great season, Norman knows how to galvanize a team when it counts at the end of the season. What he has done in three years is light years ahead of 99% of class 4 as far as building a sustainable program and narrowin the gap between the WC & Kearneys of the world and everyone else. Hats off to an extremely talented team who played with a ton of heart. There appears to be some great pieces returning next yes as well.

-- Posted by mazz on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 5:01 PM
  • Neutral observer here. I was impressed with Webb City. The Cards couldn't pass the ball due to the 28 mph wind (and were smart enough not to), so this was a good time for the Tigers to hit 'em and hit 'em hard. They couldn't do it. Webb City (my estimation) wracked up 300-plus yards on the ground and scored 4 of their 5 TDs. Despite a 900-pound defensive line by Central, the Tigers couldn't stop Webb City's running attack. Had Webb City been able to pass it, the score would have been brutal. And despite an offensive with at least 2 D-1 collegiate athletes at QB and RB, Cape Central could do nothing on offense. Their only scores came from a fluke Webb fumble and a short field. When Cape *had* to drive the ball, they were out 3-and-out. For those of you saying Webb didn't impress, you obviously know nothing about football, because they were the best HS football team I've seen with my eyes.

Could job on a great year Cape, but you played a team at a whole new and higher level.

-- Posted by relic on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 6:12 PM
  • *

I don't think Cape's quarterback is a D1 recruit and the running back is a first year varsity starter. You're way off base in your justification or excuses for Webb not turbo clocking the Tigers. Cape is a solid team who appeared to be worn down by Webb has who double the number of players. Webb has the Missouri recruit on offensive line at 6-4 280 so he's suppose to be able to block Cape's first year starters on D-line.

-- Posted by JustSpeakingTheTruth on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 6:21 PM
  • *

You really sound like a neutral observer. Never posted on here until right now then you boast about Webb City and down Cape. Yeah.. Okay... Have a feeling you won't be around much longer after Webb plays next weeks game. Get out of here.

Anyone who was at the game knows how average they looked compared to what some said. It was going to be over after the first quarter. Give Cape props for once.

-- Posted by Cheesehead. on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 6:22 PM
  • You tell em cheese!!

    -- Posted by Moose76 on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 6:41 PM
  • Wow, you guys are awfully sensitive about your loss. Take it in stride. You've done more the last 3 years than most teams do in a decade, so eat some grapes with that whine.

And no, sadly, just an observer. No dog in this fight. But, you know, truthfully, after reading the last 2 weeks on here about how good Central is, I really expected you guys to have more than just a measly 100 yards total offense for the day. Hearing how good Cape was, I really thought it would be a game.

    It wasn't.

    Color me unimpressed.

Hopefully you guys can do better next year.

    LOL

-- Posted by BuckMajor on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 6:47 PM
  • Relic- Cape's first score did not occur on a short field. Harris broke a 52 yard run to put it past half field then they gradually drove down and scored on a qb sneak.

-- Posted by Rosen on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 6:49 PM
  • I was able to catch this game as I was heading back south.

Cape played the best game I've seen them play in person (which is admittedly 1-2 per year in person, but I catch most of the rest of the games on HUDL). Cape, in my estimation, had twice as many pure athletes on the field. And they had a solid game plan. They peaked at the right time. They played beyond expectations for two quarters. But that's where it ended.

If you missed the "wow factor" in that game then you must have had too much cold wind in your eyes. Nothing average about saying 'hey, we're going to run between the tackles 95% of the time.....please feel free to stop us'. And when Cape did, WC just kept on.

There were some great halftime adjustments. They were subtle, but WC took advantage of the Central interior pressure and LB flow. And they seemed to adjust their reads and keys on D.

WC gained an extra yard every time they ran the ball purely from body lean. And the difference in game knowledge across the formation was shown repeatedly. As was point of attack stops and gang tackling. Footwork, flow, hands, hips, second level blocking....they're technically sound on every play whether they win that play or not.

Cape had a great showing, but there was nothing "average" about WC other than they won.

-- Posted by Nada on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 7:17 PM
  • *

Trust me, I actually was a neutral fan at the game. I really had no dog in this fight. Just ask anyone who actually post on here regularly. I'm not some blow hard who has to talk up my team and pretend to be "neutral".

-- Posted by Cheesehead. on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 7:26 PM
  • *

And I know Webb City isn't average. I was comparing them to what everyone else was saying about them. According to them, Cape stood no chance after the kickoff. You don't win what Webb City has won and build a program like they have being average. It was more of a comparison to everyone else's view of them. Should have clarified a little better. I have nothing but respect for them as a program.

-- Posted by Cheesehead. on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 7:32 PM
  • @Cheese: I understand your point now.

I think casual observers with cursory football knowledge were expecting a 70-0 score with back flips into the end zone and WWE suplex tackles.

Every team has a chance, but especially reams with pure athleticism. WC is just a great football program.

-- Posted by Nada on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 7:42 PM
  • ONE WEBBIE SAID IT WOULD BE OVER BY THE SECOND QUARTER.... ONE, not all of us not many of us... ONE!

It is not fair the WC kids to judge them bases of one jack wagons big mouth. Just as it was not fair to your kids when he immediately discredited their chances to win.

I came in here and complemented you team, no one says a word but just continues to ***** because one moron dissed your team.

-- Posted by mazz on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 7:51 PM
  • From the Stands, again with this hudl, what school would you be affiliated with that you can see so much film on Valle AND Cape? It's not an all access system.

-- Posted by Bill Shakespeare on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 8:06 PM
  • @Bill: if it was important for you to know or if you were able to comprehend, I'd tell you.

Do you have anything relevant to add to this discussion or are you just trolling?

-- Posted by Nada on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 8:11 PM
  • But seriously though, can I get access to your HUDL account? That junk is crazy expensive.

    -- Posted by T-Roll on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 8:48 PM
  • HUDL is free. Team access is granted by the group account manager.

-- Posted by Nada on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 8:52 PM
  • @SEMO I knew this board would be more fun to read, you guys crack me up.You played a great game for a 1/2, its hard to hang with a team that doesn't have their best players playing both ways.Yet they never score 70 points, Jrod took his foot of the gas in the 3rd Qu with subs. Your big line was chasing JV backs the entire 4th, while Young was still carrying for Cape.

Webb is everyone's big game, every team every year brings thier A game. Its nothing new everyone wants to be the dragon slayer. See you all next year.

-- Posted by webbpaspilot on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 9:13 PM
  • Group account manger is a coach. Unless you're a high school coach, a college coach, a referee, or possibly a reporter for a local newspaper you don't just get handed access to a team's HUDL account.

It doesn't work like that. I can promise you no coach with any sense just hands out the password to their team's page to some random fan from the stands.

So with that said, you're one of the previous mentioned.

-- Posted by Squeak on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 9:33 PM
  • If JV was playing 3 & 4 qtr they should of played the whole game because that's when it got interesting to me when I wasn't trying to thaw out. Just want to say to the Cape fans that stayed for the whole game, you are true fans and I salute you. When all those people left at once and I seen the Cape players turn around and look I felt sorry for them. Heck I stayed longer, not all the way to the end but close. To the Webb fans that came you guys were getting the cold wind full face and I felt bad for you guys but ya came and stayed to the end even when ya knew it was over. Anyway glad I went even tho I really think I got frostbite.

-- Posted by Nada on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 9:44 PM
  • I just got accused of trolling by the troll. I can comprehend just fine. I'm asking what team could you be given access to that would have much film on both Cape and Valle, based on the fact that they don't have common opponents so are not that likely to have film floating around the same avenues

-- Posted by Bill Shakespeare on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 9:58 PM
  • @Bill: And this intrigues you why? Are you enamored with my on-line persona, and hope to gain personal details that you can cuddle with on cold, lonely nights? You trolled, troll. Wear that skin comfortably because it fits. If you were capable of comprehending, you'd have done so.

@TFA: I posted about that fan base previously. It's a shame for a program that seems to be headed in the right direction.

-- Posted by Nada on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 10:13 PM

He will continue to dodge that question as well with some idiotic comment. Watch.

-- Posted by Squeak on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 10:14 PM
  • @Squeak: Im glad you finally learned something about HUDL. I'm enthusiastic about teaching laypersons.

As for your obsession with me, I'm not interested in reciprocating on this man-crush you have on me.

Are you going to troll or do you have a football comment?

-- Posted by Nada on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 10:19 PM
  • You're the only one that's been trolling since you've been on semoball. Stop acting like you're some internet guru.

-- Posted by Squeak on Sat, Nov 21, 2015, at 10:32 PM
  • I'd be willing to bet you've never even been on HUDL to watch a game. Especially when that's the only thing you use to back your argument on a team. High school coaches don't even use it as much as you claim to use it.

We all know they don't just hand out access to any random fan likes its candy on Halloween.

Which would make you the biggest troll of all. Idiot.

  • Well I'm not really interested in your online persona at all, just curious as to how you get to watch these teams. The fact that you can watch these teams(allegedly) is what you're using to validate your opinion. And I don't see what team would have access to that wide spectrum of teams

-- Posted by Bill Shakespeare on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 3:00 AM
  • It's a **** shame Malden couldn't provide adequate security against the local thuggery. This really reflects bad against the whole community. My apologies to the Palmyra team and i hope Malden can somehow make this right.

-- Posted by dirtysouth on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 3:45 AM
  • Really a shame that cc1989 created an account just to bash something they know nothing about. Really a shame Palmyra people are new to locks and how they work. That Bing said I hope the morons that ruined a great day are brought to justice and I feel bad that Palmyra could not get on their phones during the long trip home. I guess they just had to think about going to basketball practice this week

  • Sorry the kids got things stolen, but who leaves valuables in an unlocked locker room? Should have seen that one coming. Malden administration can share the blame, but Palmyra coaches should have known better, too. Locked or unlocked (you never know who all has keys or left window unlocked), coaches should know you never leave valuables in the locker room on the road.

-- Posted by Bogey Man on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 6:11 AM
  • @Squeaky Bill: You're both trolling. I commented on a game that I watched.

As for my HUDL access and the amount of time that's necessary for me to watch it, I'm unconcerned with your infatuation. Some lives extend beyond the next ridge.

You've never been willing to bet on here, Squeaky. Why start now? Troll.

-- Posted by Nada on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 8:05 AM
  • Let's just say everyone is a troll and get it over with. 😀

-- Posted by TFA on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 10:05 AM
  • Just admit it, you don't have access to HUDL. Or admit to how you have it.

But you won't, cause you don't have an answer. Nothing new. You know very little about football. I mean seriously, you base your opinion on what you watch on your Dell PC? Really? How would anyone take your lazy opinion seriously? You just can't.

Ahh let me fast forward a couple plays and only watch half the game online. That will tell me all I need to know about how good a team may or may not be.

    Nothing more, nothing less.

-- Posted by Squeak on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 10:53 AM
  • I'm not trolling, I'm giving you an attempt to validate your credentials. If you have that kind of access you're likely a coach or an official. I'm curious as to which you are?

-- Posted by Bill Shakespeare on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 11:14 AM
  • I don't need validation, Bill. If I cared to share my personal story with you, we'd be friends.

And I don't care about your credentials as a starter on JV your junior and senior years, Squeak.

My football knowledge pays the bills. I probably see more football than you two combined. On Saturday, I watched WC and Cape. And tonight at the hotel, I'll probably watch 2-3 more games on HUDL catching up on the last two weekends. How many high school games did you watch this weekend, Squeaky? Zero. And that's why you're trolling instead of contributing to the football conversation.

-- Posted by Nada on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 12:34 PM
  • How are you contributing to the football conversation? You continue to hide behind your so called Hudl access.

Pays the bills? I know for a fact an assistant college coach or referee (which you probably aren't since you're in a hotel tonight) does not make nearly enough to pay the bills. That Super 8 coffee seems to be driving you a little crazy.

Just admit it, you're a GA at a small college. It's okay we won't make fun of you. Just discredit your opinion since it's based on your computer screen.

-- Posted by Squeak on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 12:48 PM
  • Wow. It's so awesome seeing two jabronis argue over who has a HUDL account. I wonder who has to bigger pocket protector or if you carry a protractor?

  • Your ability to watch so much football is admirable. Your ability to dodge questions is your best asset on this board. It's clear you won't do anything but try and beat your own chest about this so I'm content letting it go.

-- Posted by Bill Shakespeare on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 1:25 PM
  • Hey, Squeak. Did you watch a HS game in person this weekend? No? Didn't think so. I did, and I commented on the football played. I'll watch HUDL later and do the same.

    You keep 'a trolling.

And Squeky.....you keep believing whatever helps you feel better about your place in life.

-- Posted by Nada on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 2:35 PM
  • Yes I did watch a game. I had multiple posts about being at the Valle game. Don't know how you missed. I was posting updates.

Keep digging that hole a little deeper. You'll eventually catch up.

And finally you make it to a game in person! No wonder the weather was terrible all over Semo area. Maybe someone will give you a cookie for finally attending a game in person. You deserve one.

-- Posted by Squeak on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 2:45 PM
  • I attend one game every week during the season, Squeeeeky. I also attend a fair number of jamborees, scrimmages, and practices. Then I watch several more. I manage to get past the city limits signs to watch more than one team. I also don't wear my letter jacket to the games. I'm sure that confuses you.

I probably missed your posts about Valle because they weren't interesting. Or I may have just dismissed someone posting during a game like a teenage girl on Facebook.

You keep 'trolling, Troll. I'm sure you'll have a brilliant counter (at least in your eyes).

  • FTS, I'm not trying to bust your balls here, I'm done with that where you are concerned. But I would like to offer some constructive criticism. I hope you're mature enough to consider it without getting booty hurt.

If you would take the high road with your rebuttals maybe your actual football posts would be taken more seriously. I truly believe you know football. But frankly, your childish insults and pompous online attitude discredit everything you say in a football context because you come across like an immature jerk with a wi-fi connection. That's the straight truth.

Food for thought. Please don't reply if all you have are insults.

-- Posted by NoBS on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 3:54 PM
  • A fair number of jamborees? There's a lie.

And don't even live in Ste. Genevieve, actually St. Louis. Good try though.

-- Posted by Squeak on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 4:02 PM
  • @NoBS: I always take people seriously when they use the phrase "booty hurt". I'll follow your example on that "high road".

The "straight truth" is some people don't like it when others know more, have done more, etc. I don't get jealous of the Jones, but some do.

I'm not looking for a pat on the back fom fellow posters within an anonymous forum. I'm not seeking validation. I'm not seeking an opinion alliance. There's a lot of posts made in these threads from Uncle Ricos, JV cheer squad managers, and Friday night drunks. More power to them. The forum is the place for all.

-- Posted by Nada on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 4:09 PM
  • Oh, Squeeeeeky. So I live in St. Louis? Am I still an official? Or a GA? I never go to games in person? HUDL is only for highlights? I don't attend jamborees? No one gets drunk at the VFD?

You continue to show that you're a simpleton with an unhealthy Internet obsession/man crush.

    You keep 'a trolling, Troll.

  • Thanks, TFA. Glad to entertain. I hope you've thawed out. I woke up in Texarkana this morning, and was glad Cape was in my rearview. It's only 10 degrees warmer, but it's a regular beach day comparably.

-- Posted by Nada on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 4:19 PM
  • Yep I thawed some, still cold here but not windy. I can't figure out why all this stuff matters about what you do or what you watch but apparently it does to some so ya can keep me entertained until basketball season because otherwise there's nothing on here for me just trolling I guess. Lol

-- Posted by TFA on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 4:27 PM
  • I knew I was probably asking too much of you FTS. No surprise you couldn't answer the challenge. You're only happy when you toss insults from behind the protection of a forum disguise. Later chump.

@TFA: They just don't like it when someone has been to other side of the ridge, and knows the Earth isn't flat.

-- Posted by Nada on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 4:35 PM
  • $3000 worth of stuff stolen from the locker room? That's horrible!! I'm kinda shocked at some of the comments made. Stealing is wrong no matter how you look at it. I don't care if the locker room was unlocked, gym bags open with money in plain site, it still doesn't give someone the right to take it. I hope all is recovered and the guilty parties brought to justice.

-- Posted by LHSTigerFan on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 9:02 PM
  • Well said LHS! I brought up the locks but you are exactly right!!

-- Posted by IndianPride on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 9:17 PM
  • Well I know we all would like to picture everyone as an Honest Abe, but in reality, this world we live in is quite harsh - filled with millions and millions of criminals and just plain turds. If we're going by elementary school standards, then yes, locked or not, nothing should've been stolen. But this is 2015, almost 2016. If Palmyra's coach or whoever was in charge(coaches usually being responsible beings), who was given a KEY, would've locked the door, none of this happens. It's a shame that this even happened, but there's not many things you can point your finger at.

-- Posted by JustTalkinSEMO on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 11:23 PM

Justtalkin, I was thinking the same. I know 20 plus years ago when I played high school ball coaches were given a key to lock and unlock locker rooms. I certainly hope the thrives are caught but this sounds like it could have been avoided.

-- Posted by JustSpeakingTheTruth on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 11:29 PM
  • *

And YES they were given a key! Go to Missouri high school sports website and look up locker room rules and you'll see if Palmyra was following the rules this never could have happened!

-- Posted by JustSpeakingTheTruth on Sun, Nov 22, 2015, at 11:41 PM
  • Given a key? That's a poor way to handle it. A home team game administrator should be responsible for hosting the other team, i.e. locking and unlocking doors to your own facilities. If the rule is "here's your key, good luck" then it's a poor rule.

    -- Posted by T-Roll on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 6:50 AM

T-Roll, you apparently have no experience in high school sports. Go read! It's always been the courtesy of the home team to give keys to the visiting coaching staff to secure their locker room.

-- Posted by JustSpeakingTheTruth on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 7:13 AM
  • Ok. Go ahead and post that rule please. I couldn't find it.

    -- Posted by T-Roll on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 8:17 AM

  • -- Posted by JustSpeakingTheTruth on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 8:45 AM
  • T-Roll, there's honestly no need to even have to explain this to a person like you. I'm sorry you feel like your uneducated opinion matters, but it doesn't. Keys are given to the opposing coach so he can control the opening and closing of his locker room door. Why? Because the coach isn't a 4 year old toddler who needs help locking the door. The situation is what it is.

-- Posted by JustTalkinSEMO on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 8:46 AM
  • Malden's public restroom is connected to the visitor's locker room for some stupid reason....That door is usually locked by the Malden people...guess they were too busy keeping the time since there was no scoreboard for a STATE SEMIFINAL GAME.....that's ridiculous to not have a working scoreboard.

    http://www.mshsaa.org/resources/pdf/15FBManual.pdf

Page 4 rule #8 clearly states that the coaches are responsible for their players belongings, furthermore there are certain items claimed to be stolen that are prohibited from even being used in locker rooms.

-- Posted by JustSpeakingTheTruth on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 8:59 AM

SouthEspn, that is unfortunate, but I'm sure that wasn't Malden's plan for the score board to malfunction. Once again, the officials followed the rules for this situation and both teams played under the same circumstances!

-- Posted by JustSpeakingTheTruth on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 9:02 AM

Thousands of dollars worth of players belongings stolen, and no working scoreboard for a semi-final game?

Welcome, Palmyrans! Hope you enjoyed your visit to the area! I'm sure you'll all want to come back soon!

-- Posted by Lippy Radeck on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 9:10 AM
  • Way to represent, Malden! Be proud!

    -- Posted by T-Roll on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 10:08 AM
  • Your link doesn't say anything about giving the visiting coach a key to the locker room. Did they get one to the bathroom as well?

    -- Posted by T-Roll on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 10:10 AM
  • No cell phones in the locker room? Didn't someone mention this was 2015, who doesn't have a cell phone in the locker room.

-- Posted by BIGELW on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 10:36 AM

Along with "breaking the rules" by not locking the locker room, I guess Palmyra should have brought an electrician to work on the scoreboard. If they didn't, that's their fault. This is 2015, it's not that hard to find an electrician to travel with the team.

-- Posted by Lippy Radeck on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 11:20 AM
  • Yes, the locker room situation is unfortunate. It's unfortunate they were uncapable of using their key to lock their locker room once they left to play... But, at the end of the day, ON THE FIELD (the stuff that actually matters), Palmyra lost to Malden. They were out worked, out coached, and out played. Malden will be playing in the title game this Friday while Palmyra is back home working on their lay-ups. Hope you didn't waste too much money on tissues from crying all weekend about the scoreboard. If you aren't sure, this is what it would've said: Palmyra -21 Malden -24.

-- Posted by JustTalkinSEMO on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 2:58 PM
  • JTS I would just like to say we were not uncapable of locking the room and the Malden school district has apologized because the locks were not working right they said it was not Palmyra's fault it was the locks on their doors, also you make it seem like you blew Palmyra out of the water we only lost by 4 points, so we really were not outplayed or outcoached both coaches did a fine job, and btw it's one day at the dome, then you all will be working on your layups as well, Malden football players were just as upset and disgusted about the robbery as our boys

    -- Posted by cc1989 on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 9:35 PM
  • False statements again. Nowhere in any report does any Malden person claim the locks did not work. Clockwise and counterclockwise must be a new element up north. What Malden did was win with class and the school is replacing all items that were lost. Same can't be said for dignity of the very few Palmyra people who showed true colors

-- Posted by footballjunkie on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 9:50 PM
  • The reason is because the locks still work today

-- Posted by footballjunkie on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 9:51 PM
  • So what matters most is that a team won a game vs. the fact that a bunch of kids had their personal property stolen????All this talk about Palmyra breaking rules is the silliest stuff Ive heard in a while.

Was it just cell phones stolen or was cash and clothing missing as well?

Unfortunate, to say the least, for both sides.

-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 11:00 PM
  • Sorry! My post was meant for justtalkinsemo about their idea about what "actually matters"

-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 11:07 PM
  • Also, cell phone use is prohibited, not cell phone possession in a locker or back pack.

I really hope a SEMO team can win state! Malden you are the areas last chance!

-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 11:14 PM
  • Football junkie I would like to know exactly what Palmyra people did to you which showed our true colors, since your sitting there saying we can't work locks up north apparently your being no better than what your describing of Palmyra people, your showing your true colors as well

Cc1989, I'm happy to hear an arrest has been made and this issue is being resolved. Justtalkinsemo may be referring to the couple women who jumped on the Malden school board Facebook page and acted a fool. They were really nasty but I won't hold that against Palmyra as a whole. They were just 2 angry women. This is exactly why it's hard to sit by and watch people who know nothing about the incident make all inclusive statements about Malden because of ONE thief.

-- Posted by JustSpeakingTheTruth on Mon, Nov 23, 2015, at 11:49 PM
  • Yes that's exactly what we mean by "true colors". A lot of the Palmyra posts and comments on social media were quite uncalled for. And cc1989, I think you're forgetting the fact that the game was 24-7 at one point, and given better conditions, could've been a lot worse. Malden was shutting Palmyra's offense down. A couple miscues late in the 4th quarter allowed the Panthers to make an attempt at a comeback.

Anyhow, I'm very glad that an arrest has been made (criminal was NOT a Malden student or alum), and I'm pleased to see the School District paying the Palmyra players back. I think we can all learn from this experience.
