High School Football Forum: Gridiron Pick'em Week 6

*
Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, Sep 23, 2015, at 9:00 AM:

Well football is finally in mid season form! I think I can truly say that in doing 3 years of Gridiron Pick'em, we might have more true "toss up" games this week than I've ever seen. Now the outcomes might not be toss ups, but boy some of them are going to be hard to pick. It was hard to determine the GOTW. Some teams are really starting to find their stride, other teams... not so much haha. Thank you to all those who decided to join in on the fun last week! We had some more big statistical upsets with Ladue beating Cape, and a good toss up game for our GOTW. I will try and have last week's results out sometime this week, just don't know when it will be. Wanted to go ahead and get the pick'em out this week. Now who is ready for week 6 of Gridiron Pick'em. Good luck everyone!

Looks like the majority is believing the Green Wave will win by 2 touch downs. I hope that we're all right! Malden Defense will be the key! I am pretty sure Hayti can't stop the Wave from scoring.

  • Kennett plays flat and makes too many mistakes and Dexter played hard and took advantage, just a sloppy game all the way around. Big win for St. Gen. Things are getting interesting.

I guess Kennett Fan probably will take a few days off from Semoball since he was beginning to talk all over himself. I lost points on that game but congrats to Dexter!

Buck, I think everyone missed some big games this week! Upsets ruin strategy picks!

  • I did pretty bad also but it's not like I'm winning so I don't care well except for our game. I care

How bout Bluff this week. Sikeston is good but Bluff needed this win a lot more heading into a bye week.

  • I'm not taking any days off. Kennett lost to Dexter. I think everyone was caught off guard by that one. Dexter deserved to win the game. Kennett had their chances and couldn't get it done.
