Spectacular showing from Quinn last night. He's really come along this year, and I think he's earned the title of best player in SEMO. I can definitely see him going to a major D1 school. I think Duke has shown some interest as of lately. Well deserved.

  • NDPride69, I was not at the game but reading the accounts in the paper the 2 players that made a spectacular showing were Andrew Weaver 37 points and Satchel McDonald 31 points.

Just as a footnote, Ressell had 24 and Barber 22. Poythress 16. I would also be surprised if Duke was interested in ANY SEMO player.

  • This guy is full of it. That's the funniest thing i think i've read all year. He would be lucky if he could play Juco. Duke? HA HA HA HA HA

  • Wow Bigelw. You swallowed that hook line and sinker.

Big is the resident scout of southeast Missouri. Just ask him. LOL

  • I think Quinn has legit shot at D1 if he continues to work on his game. Especially his ball handling. He also has to get stronger of course. All it takes is to be seen at the right time and right place. Some coaches are always looking for shooters with size. When talking with coach last night we talked about that with him. Definitely high D2. Just my thought.

  • I agree coach. He's gotta improve his ball skills, but he's got the good range, is 6-6 and he also moves real well without the ball. Add some strength as well. Good player.

  • Quinn could probably play at TRCC or SEMO. He doesn't look as good as Brian Patterson and he is at TRCC.

  • And Patterson isn't that good at TRC.

  • Just a little info that really doesn't mean anything but do u know that Brian Patterson is Paige Patterson from Dexter girls are cousins so is my son but he didn't get the height they got. Mine is like a 3rd cousin I think. His dads side of family. I know ya don't care but just thought it was interesting. Lol!

  • TFA...

I have absolutely loved watching Brian Petterson for years. The guy can shoot the three, handle thd ball, and is an outstanding player. A guy 6-8 240 pounds or so and can handle the ball . He's really started to come on at TRCC.

I have no dog in the whole Patterson debate, Big, but here are his numbers at TRC:

    Brian Patterson | #33 | F | Three Rivers Community College - MO gp 22, ppg 8.0, FG % 44.4, 3pt% 41.7, ft% 67.3, RB% 3.7. Those are not bad numbers for a freshman.

  • I only met Brian like twice. I think my son met him for the first time last year at their family reunion.
