High School Basketball Forum: Bloomfield Tourny vs. Cape Tourny

If the same seeds from each tournament played each other, how many wins would each tournament get?

  • I think the top 5 maybe 6 at Cape would win but after that it would be a toss up. I don't know a whole lot about some.of the lower seeds at Bloomfield.

  • Outside of Richland over Delta, I'm thinking there would not be too many "locks" for the Bloomfield teams. But there is definitely more parity which is a good thing.

  • Speaking of these two tourneys, why aren't the Bloomfield scores on the Holiday Central page?

  • All you need to know is the talent poll is deeper in the Cape tournament but the Bloomfield tournament is more competitive.

  • The top 11 teams in Cape would mop the floor with the top 11 teams at Bloomfield.

  • The top 6 seeds at Semo would all win easily. 7-10 would be a toss up, but 11-16 would definitely be won by Bloomfield teams. The bottom 6 teams at Semo would all be 15 or 16 seeds if they played at Bloomfield.

  • The only difference is the Cape tournament has Jackson, Cape, and ND. I think after the big schools it's pretty well a level playing field.

  • I think it would be cool if the winner of the semo and the winner of the Bloomfield tournament played each other.

  • Didn't Kennett beat cape central? Or did I imagine that? I think hayti could play with alot of teams as well in the semo tournament.
