Jontay is going to visit Mizzou on Monday and decide shortly after that.
Knox says he won't be deciding until early May.
It seems more and more like Smith is down to IL and Ohio State, after Mizzou, UK, and Duke became involved. Sounds like he wants to put up a BUNCH of shots. If so IL and OSU would be the place.
Kassius Robertson a grad transfer from Canisius is visiting Mizzou. Back up plan guy from Smith. Good chance he comes to Mizzou, eligible immediately.
Tilmon' recruitment has gone silent.

I really think Jontay will reclassify. I think that's the most likely scenario for Mizzou, more so than getting Smith, Tilmon, or Knox.

So Johntay and mpj will both be at Mizzou next year??

I think that scenario is very likely.

Everything I've read has Mark Smith to Illinois or Michigan State. Tilmon is still likely going to Mizzou, Jontay is likely going to reclassify because it sounds like Knox is leaning heavily towards Duke.

Thanks Buck and Deuce!! Man what a change in the Mizzou landscape in a short time!

Mark Smith will be announcing his decision Wednesday. I'll say either Illinois or Ohio State. I think IL.
Cam Johnson, grad transfer from Pitt, will be visiting UK Wednesday and Thursday.

"Jontay will be considered an elite prospect whether he plays in college this year or next but isn’t considered a one-and-done NBA prospect like his brother. NBAdraft.net projects Porter Jr. as the draft’s No. 1 selection in 2018."
For those of you who have seen him play, is MPJ really that good? Ive yet to catch him on tv or youtube etc but i wonder how many HS seniors have been projected as top pro draft pick? Im startn to hope the young man isnt being unfairly (still a young kid!!) overhyped but i guess we shall find out startn next November!

Yes Ciri, he is really that good. He can do it all. Not uncommon for top high school senior to be projected top draft pick though. I believe last 10 No. 1 NBA picks have been one and done college freshmen.
Jontay is very good as well. Not anywhere near MPJ, but very good. Did just earn a 5th star by ESPN I believe (could have been Rivals, I don't remember which one).
As Kansas has blown it out of the water with undergraduate transfers (probably got the best two available) who will have to sit out but will still be on scholarship, I'm feeling better than I was about Tilmon to Mizzou. But boy he has gone zero dark thirty on recruitment. I wouldn't be surprised if he just tweets out where he's going and no one knows in advance. The thing to watch will be if someone like a UNC who just had a bunch of guys declare for the draft, and ones at his position, really ramp up his recruitment. IL is still a factor for him too.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, Apr 26, 2017, at 10:16 AM
Mark Smith committed to Illinois.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, Apr 26, 2017, at 6:56 PM
Haha ciri my pleasure!! Seriously though 6-10, very athletic, can handle and shoot it from deep. Reminds me of Tatum only taller. Honestly think he's more impressive than Tatum at the same point of their high school time.
The thing I like most about him is his demeanor. Level headed, humble.
Mizzou fans should be very excited...at least for one year!!

3 star 6'9 SF Mamoudou Diarra from 22 Feet Academy is visiting Mizzou. Knox back up plan.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, Apr 27, 2017, at 10:12 AM
7'3 center Christopher Sodom from Tennessee Prep Academy has cut his list to Mizzou, Pitt, Oklahoma St, and Georgetown. Possibly a Tilmon back up
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, Apr 27, 2017, at 4:38 PM
Love that school name...22 feet academy!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, Apr 27, 2017, at 6:51 PM
Yeah I've always liked that one! I've seen the play before, just once though. Even though they are located in South Carolina, I think Diarra is actually from St. Louis.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, Apr 27, 2017, at 6:54 PM
Ok i give up. 22 feet academy?? I know there are 22 feet on the field for a football team but im assuming thats a stretch?
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Fri, Apr 28, 2017, at 9:31 AM
Believe it is the 3 point line distance (to the wings?). I think 22 Feet is pretty much all basketball, not sure if they have football teams. Diarra would be a nice pick up for Mizzou.
Heard Cam Johnson's UK visit went well.
World is pretty much waiting on Knox, Bamba, and Duval. Then all the chips will start to fall for other schools.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Fri, Apr 28, 2017, at 9:42 AM
Buck, any word on when any of the big names are planning to commit? Bamba, Knox, Duval, Bowen, etc?
Also, idk when his visit was but 247 is showing Diarra committed to Cincinnati on the 28th
-- Posted by semo501 on Tue, May 2, 2017, at 12:36 AM
Diarra is from STL. He played at St. Louis Christian. If you remember, that is the school that played at the Clarkton Holiday tournament this past winter.
-- Posted by ozzyandharriet on Tue, May 2, 2017, at 9:34 AM
Diarra's visit was actually that day, the 27th when I posted it. And yes you are correct, the next day he committed via instagram to Cincinnati.
Yes semo, it's now May and really we haven't seen any big splashes. Got some late deciders this year. Knox should be this week, closer to the weekend. Duke just took a commit from a 3 star point guard. I think that says more about their confidence in either Frank Jackson staying in the draft, or Duval going eksewhere, rather than Knox not going to Duke. After reports came out that Knox wasn't considering Mizzou anymore, his dad said he was. So they are still a possibility. Bowen is likely do go to some off the wall school, like Creughton or DePaul. DePaul just hired his high school coach. Duval is extremely quiet. I still think Duke has a great shot. Bamba I could see being the longest holdout. UK or Texas for him. Hoping us

Canisius grad transfer Kassius Robertson has committed to Mizzou. How Kassius could ever leave Canisius I don't know, but he has haha

-- Posted by The Deuce on Wed, May 3, 2017, at 11:47 AM
Now he's committed lol
-- Posted by The Deuce on Wed, May 3, 2017, at 8:52 PM
Oh he was committed, he just hadn't "announced" he was committed lol. I'm not a fan of reporters publicizing when recruits commit to coaches privately (which is what happened here). Wait until they announce. But hey, that's what ESPN pays them to do, find out the info first, even if it's at the kids expense.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, May 3, 2017, at 10:10 PM
ESPN is a soul-less joke of a media corporation, rite up there with PMSNBC, ClintonNewsNetwork and the NY Slimes.
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Wed, May 3, 2017, at 11:19 PM
Haha Ciri I need you to be my marketing manager, you are already good with branding lol
So now this does leave Mizzou with one scholarship. While things can certainly be rearranged, that does leave an interesting situation for Jontay and Tilmon. I think the more likely scenario is Mizzou either gets Tilmon and Jontay stays in high school, or if they miss on Tilmon he reclassifies. I'm not sure they get both guys next year.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 4, 2017, at 9:05 AM
I'm quite sure that the "fringe" players like VanLeer, Kemp, etc... have been told that if both Porter and Tilmon commit that more scholarships are getting yanked.
-- Posted by ozzyandharriet on Thu, May 4, 2017, at 9:10 AM
Yep, I'm sure they have.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 4, 2017, at 9:35 AM
Can scholarships be yanked, i thought maybe they were binding?
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Thu, May 4, 2017, at 9:53 AM
Yes they can. Scholarships are 1 year contracts, and the coach can chose not to renew someone's scholarship. I think they have until July to notify them. It doesn't really happen extremely often, and it's pretty crappy and doesn't look good. Which is another reason I feel they won't get both guys. I just don't see them taking Robertson's commitment right at this moment in early May with two big blinking recruits still out there if they felt they were gonna get both. (And this doesn't even factor Knox into the equation)

Manute Bol's son, Bol Bol is tearing up the EYBL and picked up an offer from UK according to an article I read earlier. Is that correct Buck?

Where's this put you guys on scholarships, Buck?
-- Posted by semo501 on Sat, May 6, 2017, at 6:53 PM
Well it depends on if Diallo stays in the draft or not (I'm kinda leaning toward he will stay in draft). He comes back then 1, he leaves then 2 left. I'm not sure if Brad is on scholarship or not. If he is then that could certainly be moved to walk on too.

Here's an interesting bit of basketball trivia. I coached my boys team against Brad Caliparis team out of Memphis many years ago when they were young! We played them at Nell Holcomb school in Cape of all things!
Sadly we didn't win, but I sure wish we had so I could say I got a coaching win against a Calipari!! 😊

I'm just not sure I can accept anyone's argument who claims Lebron isn't the best player in the league. Now what the difference between that and most valuable player is, I have no idea.
Do probably agree with Big, not sure they can beat the 4 all star Monstars.
Well as far as recruiting Duval should probably be next to fall. (Unless something happens with Tilmon, that guy has fallen off the face of the earth)
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Mon, May 8, 2017, at 11:01 AM
And The Admiral, IP!!
The King (rightfully so) has learned to play 82 games in 2nd gear. The King is now in playoff Beast Mode. The King elevates all those around him. Bow down to the King, O ye of little faith!
Tongue in cheek of course. But it is silly to consider anyone else for MVP, the dude is from another galaxy.
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Mon, May 8, 2017, at 12:11 PM
Definitely the Admiral too ciri!! True class act!!
I'm with you on LeBron as the best in the league Buck and ciri...I like Kawhi at number 2 based on how be plays both ends!!
As for who gets MVP??????
-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, May 8, 2017, at 4:31 PM
Ive been meaning to ask you Indian, who would you put at #3?
And as far as MVP, I mean I understand it, you cant give it to the same guy every year just for publicity sake. The admiral, Malone, and Barkley all won mvps in between Jordan's first and final one. While they are all great, even hall of famers, they weren't the best player in the league when they won, Jordan was. But they had great years. Westbrook and harden and Kawhi have too, but they aren't #1
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Mon, May 8, 2017, at 7:04 PM
Buck I definitely agree with what you said about the Jordan era and the same is happening now with LeBron.
As for my current #3 I have to go with Russ. I know many say it's about the wins and the Rockets beat the Thunder, and I agree the win is what counts. But I just think Harden has a lot more around him than Russ. And I've got to give credit to the historic triple double season! Imagine where the Thunder would be without him...oh My!
Also imagine what the Thunder might be if Durant and Harden were still there.
But team ball wasn't important to Harden...he wanted to be "the guy"...and Durant wanted to hop on the train to a ring...
Which leads back to what I responded to ciri and why I'm fine with LeBron keeping it rolling if that's what it takes to knock off the Warriors!
How's that for a rambling rant!!😂
-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, May 8, 2017, at 9:46 PM
I thought you articulated that rant pretty well haha.
Oh I don't want to even think about that Thunder line up. Scary....
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Tue, May 9, 2017, at 8:42 AM
I watched a good chunka the Warriors sweep lasnite. Are zone defenses just absolutely off limits in the pros? The Warriors scored halfa their buckets on layups against the lamest man to man ive ever seen!! I dont know how the fans can sit there watchn their team give up layups all nite, yikes!!
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Tue, May 9, 2017, at 10:29 AM
You can't play zone defenses in the pros unless they've changed the rules. I don't watch it anymore since only 2 or 3 teams have a chance to win it all.
-- Posted by crackerjack on Tue, May 9, 2017, at 11:25 AM
They even call defensive 3 seconds if you sag off and stay in the lane too long...
-- Posted by IndianPride on Tue, May 9, 2017, at 11:46 AM
Zones are allowed but few teams will run it since they will still call defensive 3 seconds. They changed that rule years ago to allow teams to run zones in an effort to contain Shaq. It still didn't work. Every once in a while you'll see a team throw a zone out there but not often. The defensive 3 second rule discourages it.
-- Posted by semohoops on Tue, May 9, 2017, at 11:55 AM
Well the game has morphed into five separate minigames of one-on -one every time there's a halfcourt "offense" being run. I laughed when Quin would calla timeout after the Warriors would go on a layup run. What the hecks he gonna fix? How many different man-on-man defenses canya run? But i'm sure its been like this for decades. Since I grew up in St Loo I havent followed the pros at all, except for a few playoff games now and then. It must be exciting though cuz most arenas sell-out all year long, except for Kroenke's team of course HAHAHAHAHAHHHHH!!!!
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Tue, May 9, 2017, at 3:22 PM
The NBA is definitely thriving. That's how they can pay these guys outrageous salaries. I love it. Try to watch every game. For some reason around these parts many people don't follow it and I suppose it's because there isn't a team nearby except for the Grizzlies, which few people in the SEMO area adopt as "their team." I've been to one Grizzly game and what an incredible atmosphere. Just a regular season game on a Wednesday night and it was jam packed and rocking. Great experience. I do have a problem with some of the things that go on within the NBA (incessant complaining at every call/no call mainly), but there are things in all sports that I can complain about.
-- Posted by semohoops on Tue, May 9, 2017, at 9:01 PM
Thank you Buck! Love the outcome of the game tonight!! Master Pop move(hopefully)letting Kawhi stay off of the ankle and still getting the W!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Wed, May 10, 2017, at 12:25 AM
semohoops! I definitely agree with the problem of constant complaining. Heck I Love the way Draymond Green plays other than the kicking problem, but I can't stand to watch him because he just can't keep his mouth shut! Another reason I like Kawhi so much!
I enjoy HS and college hoops much more than the pros, but it's the only hoops going now so I'll take it!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Wed, May 10, 2017, at 6:03 PM
I love the NBA too. Try to watch as many games as possible all season long. Although I agree with Indian, my love for HS and college is far greater haha!
I'm struggling to come up with one reason why I would like Draymond Green 😂.
Opinions on SEMO's academic issues that came out today? Kinda embarrassing, being biggest D1 program effected. And if you think other OVC schools won't use this in negative recruiting, you are kidding yourself (even if it's a one year penalty, doesn't matter). Hope we don't see some late transfers or decommits here.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, May 10, 2017, at 11:36 PM
Buck, something I thought of as I read the article is...what ever happened to Tony Anderson? He declared for NBA draft after his freshman season... I know he wasn't a lottery pick but where did he end up?
-- Posted by PimpDaddyTaddy on Thu, May 11, 2017, at 7:42 AM
Good question PDT, I just looked him up about a month ago or so. Looks like he is playing for a brand new team in Ohio called the Ohio Bootleggers (Anderson was from Ohio). That is in the Premier Basketball League, semi-pro
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 11, 2017, at 8:12 AM
What do you think he pulls in a year? It's hard to say that outweighs three more years of D-1 basketball plus the degree he would've obtained...
-- Posted by PimpDaddyTaddy on Thu, May 11, 2017, at 8:44 AM
No it wouldn't outweight tuition costs. Low NBA DLeague players make $12,000 or so. I'd say this league is in the higher single digit thousands, maybe 8 or 9 or so. So not enough to make it a career doing only that as your job. But he seemed dead set to do that. I wish him luck that things go well for him
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 11, 2017, at 9:01 AM
I don't want to seem too negative or wish someone bad events but I do hope that teens becoming young adults realize how stupid this is...not because he is chasing a dream, but because of the RISKS presented by doing this. He can't just go back to semo if it doesn't work out...not as a scholarship athlete anyway. I don't want this to become the new "one and done."
-- Posted by PimpDaddyTaddy on Thu, May 11, 2017, at 9:43 AM
I agree Buck that it's embarrassing for SEMO to be in this situation. It will most certainly be used against them in recruiting, particularly the post season ban. It appears the score last year was so low that it could be hard to overcome the following year as well?? Not sure about that though, does anyone have more info on that?
Also I understand transfers and draft declarations hurt the score but that happens everywhere nowadays.
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 11, 2017, at 5:22 PM
For what little my opinion is worth...Ill take Russ over Harden now for sure! When it got tough tonight Harden quit competing! Something you will never see with Westbrook!
Also another master coaching job by Pop getting the W without Kawhi!!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 11, 2017, at 9:39 PM
Pop is up there with greatest NBA coaches/coaches in general ever right? Has to be!
Did you see Harden's post game interview? Said he passed the ball well but guys couldn't knock down shots. Oh my...
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 11, 2017, at 10:02 PM
Yes Buck Pop is right there with the best Coaches in any sport! What he gets out of the most unlikely people is amazing!!
And yes I saw the interview??? Pitiful!! If you want to be "the man" you have to be willing to be "the man"
He was not!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 11, 2017, at 11:15 PM
How does one play 35 mins in an NBA game and....... no points!!
Poor Otto!!
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Sat, May 13, 2017, at 11:00 AM
They definitely weren't involving him in the offense, and Brooks pretty much said as much afterwards. Like he said, gotta get Otto going to win game 7, on the road
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Sat, May 13, 2017, at 1:04 PM
Otto gets very few touches with Wall and Beal taking all the shots. Otto played well but didn't well but didn't shoot well. He is still third on the team in minutes most games and typically is going to be a double figure guy. I'm just glad there's going to be a game 7.
-- Posted by semohoops on Sat, May 13, 2017, at 2:02 PM
Man he's right, gotta get Otto some points or they will not fare well at the Gardens (it'll always be the Boston Gardens to me!).
By the way, ive forgotten who's left for deciding on their college pick for class of 2017?

it looks like this college basketball recruiting thread turned into an NBA thread

Well I was just about to put that Duval would be next, now that Frank Jackson kinda surprised everyone and decided to stay in the draft rather than return to Duke. And sure enough, Duval just committed to Duke early this morning.
Then Mohamed Bamba is the highest ranked guy still left. Still probably gonna be a while for him if I had to guess, maybe a couple more weeks. Many feel it's between Texas and UK.
Next Brian Bowen. His recruitment has kind of blown up since he is one of the top guys left that wasn't really heavy on a couple schools like a Knox, Bamba, or Duval have been. So he's even out visiting schools that weren't on his list. I have no idea where he will go. DePaul did just hire his high school coach, and got a commitment from his teammate right after (Tyger Campbell, played AAU with Leech). So DePaul could be in the running.
Then a couple guards, Walker and Waters. They should be pretty soon too.
Finally you got Tilmon still hanging out there. You have to think he will drop soon. Could be very good for Mizzou, as well as waiting to see what Jontay will do as far as reclassification goes. So those are two big things for Mizzou fans to watch for.
UK is still watching Pitt transfer Cam Johnson. UCLA and Arizona in the mix for him. Knox could have messed up him to UK. I think it will depend on if Arizona's Awlkins stays in the draft.
UK is also waiting to see if our freak athlete Hami Diallo stays in the draft. He's testing better than anyone. Could be the first none-and-done.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 8:24 AM
Diallo's numbers at the combine were crazy!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 8:52 AM
Awesome info Buck, as usual we have been enlightened!
Heres a cool ranking of teams in regards to 2017 draft class, hard to believe Jaychokes at #34😱
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 10:48 AM
Tilmon to Mizzou! Great pickup guys, a really good piece that was missing to make a pretty nice complete Mizzou starting 5.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 11:49 AM
Thanks you Ciri, I try!
Also thank you for posting those rankings! Mizzou up to NO. 6 now, awesome! And what about Alabama? SEC getting it done! Yeah the Jayhawks have not had that great of a recruiting year. Duval was a big miss for them. I've seen Duval play 4 or 5 times. He's a great scoring point guard, definitely a miss for them, they should hope Malik Newman plays better than he did at MSU.

Wow dont wake me up til this dream is over!
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 11:54 AM
I figured it must be coming, Michael and Jontay hinted at it last night via twitter. I just wasn't sure if it was something revolving around Jontay, but knew he said he was still weeks out from his decision. So figured it was Tilmon dropping.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 12:07 PM
well well well, what do we have here. With Tilmon's signing Mizzou was at the scholarship limit. But Jakoby Kemp announced he will be transferring. Spot open for Jontay?
Honestly I'm not even familiar with Kemp, end of the bench guy?
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 5:19 PM
Never heard of him either Buck, but i must admit i watched a total of about 35mins of their entire season. I dont wish any ill on the athletics teams but even as an alum I find it hard to get close to any feelings of excitement about their success. Until the admin shows any change of heart, Snowflake U holds no interest for me any more. Great, if they win. Couldnt care less, if they lose. I honestly get more excitement outta watchn you and IP and others gettn excited about UK!!
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 6:19 PM
Glad to have you onboard ciri!!😊
-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 6:25 PM
Kemp redshirted last year.....on an 8 win team...😳...so bye lol
-- Posted by The Deuce on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 8:13 PM
Any info on VanLeer?? I'm interested because we played them senior year and got to know them briefly. Good family! Good player! Hoping the best for them!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 8:32 PM
Tilmon signed with Mizzou? Never saw that happening!!
-- Posted by Bleed Green 2 on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 8:48 PM
Was joking earlier ciri but I totally get it. Mizzou is a mess in their admin. I would feel exactly the same.
-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, May 15, 2017, at 11:44 PM
Doris Burke with the best Pop interview ever!!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Tue, May 16, 2017, at 8:47 PM
Welcome aboard Ciri!! Will be an interesting year for UK. Could be really good, or just so so.
Thanks for the info Deuce. So not a big loss! Definitely wasn't getting playing time with a 5 star and 4 star on the roster then.
That interview was great!! Game, with Kawhi hurt, yeah not so much. I'm smelling sweep unfortunately.
How about those Celtics? Made E Conf finals yesterday, get No. 1 draft pic today. Two Washington Huskies going to link up in the backcourt.
Saw where Mizzou is having to layoff 100's. 7% drop in enrollment.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Tue, May 16, 2017, at 10:14 PM
Not trying to start a political debate (I've seen too many anyway) but does that have to do with the whole president resigning thing? I just don't get how mizzou's enrollment drops 7% for any other underlying reason.
-- Posted by PimpDaddyTaddy on Wed, May 17, 2017, at 12:26 PM
Nope. The enrollment keeps dropping because the Admin and Ath Dept enabled fake minority protesters and haven't, as yet, done or said anything to make anyone think they wont cave in again when the next hungerstrike and boycott occurs. Thus, those opposed to the liberal snowflake mentality are shopping elsewhere for their kids' college education. Now most colleges have liberal administrations, that just goes with the territory. But Zou, in a fairly conservative midwestern state, has alienated its conservative base. They are reaping what theyve sown and im glad folks are saying enough is enough by having their kids go elsewhere.
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Wed, May 17, 2017, at 3:06 PM
Oops i think i misread ur question Pimp. There is no other underlying reason for the drop. Wolfe caved in by resigning, the fake protesters and boycotters smelled blood, and the rest is history.
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Wed, May 17, 2017, at 3:10 PM
The Celtics had to be feeling great...until right about now Buck.😊
And ciri I'm with you Mizzou is a total mess right now, enrollment dropping by a huge amount.
This is a serious question. Do you think what's happening with the bball program will help turn that around if they win quickly? I honestly don't know what sports success has as an effect on enrollment.
I agree that the snowflake mentality in a conservative region is having a very negative effect on their situation right now. I would never let my children go there with what's happening .
-- Posted by IndianPride on Wed, May 17, 2017, at 8:57 PM
Agreed IP, as soon as my daughter is outta there I have no reason or desire to ever step foot on campus again, unless the admin miraculously condemns political correctness.
On a lighter note, The King now 9-0!!!

Yes, playoff Lebron is a beautiful sight to behold. And his reaction afterwards, "they didn't play that well". Lol
Yesterday was the last day to sign a NLI. So all these guys we are waiting on have either signed and just not announced (unlikely), or are just not signing one

Hi IP!!! I can't wait Ciri and Buck a little more enthusiasm please 😂😂
-- Posted by TFA on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 10:48 AM
I know this is way too early, but does anyone see MIZZOU being in the top 25 pre-season rankings? I know it means nothing but I'm just curious. If so, where do you see them falling?
-- Posted by cardinalnation on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 11:05 AM
HEY TFA YOU THE BEST WOOT WOOT WELCOME BACK!!
I don't see Mizzou being pre season top 25. And yeah, pretty meaningless. I do think they will crack that at some point throughout the season. Now adding Jontay is a different story. They might be then
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 11:10 AM
As I predicted a little bit up this thread, SEMO has taken their first hit post acedmic sanctions. Tahj Eaddy is leaving the program. Lotta kids don't want to play or participate on what is basically a wash year.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 12:20 PM
😂😂😂😂 gosh Buck. Now I'm going back to reading
-- Posted by TFA on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 1:25 PM
William Tchiengang also leaving SEMO. daggum
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 2:11 PM
Man that stinks for SEMO, and LeBron is ridiculous!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 2:17 PM
After last night it sure looks like the Celtics need that #1 pick.
Who's it gonna be?
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 2:27 PM
I do think Fultz. Him and Thomas come together to form a UW Husky backcourt
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 2:31 PM
From what I'm hearing Jontay is a Tiger! Haven't confirmed it 100%
-- Posted by Bleed Green 2 on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 3:00 PM
Well we all know he's going to Mizzou lol. If you are talking about this year being a Tiger, I'm sure you don't have it confirmed yet because Jontay said he won't be making a decision until after EYBL in July haha.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 3:17 PM
So he says! Haha wait and see Buck wait and see!!
-- Posted by Bleed Green 2 on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 3:26 PM
Alright alright haha! He could very well join this year's team. They do have one open scholarship.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 3:31 PM
He wants to play with his Brother one more time and we all know Michael will be the #1 pick in next year's Draft
-- Posted by Bleed Green 2 on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 3:48 PM
I think it's Fultz also but would love to see them take Ball just to mess up Lavars plans!🤣
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 4:05 PM
Since you mention that, I can definitely see the Celtics putting out rumors they are interested in Ball. Just to try and get the Lakers to trade up a spot.
I think the Ball's have countered that rumor by coming out and stating that Ball will most likely only work out for the Lakers.
Is it bad I'm rooting against Lonzo because of Lavar lol?
He just offered up Big Baller Brand today for $3 Billion, want to go in half with me IP?
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 4:18 PM
Yeah Buck I'll go in for half! Hahaha!
Gonna be the next big thing and overtake Nike and Jordan very quickly! Should be a great investment!
And if your bad for thinking that about the Balls....well then I'm bad too!!😊
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 6:30 PM
Boston could end up with the top pick next year as well.
-- Posted by But on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 6:34 PM
Very well could But. The Garrnet, Pierce, Terry trade to the Nets could go down as the worst trade in sports history. Completely imploded with those players, they all left. Set the Nets back a decade or more and have missed having picks in some of the best drafts since the Lebron/Wade/Melo draft (despite being the bottom dweller and would normally be selecting an all star), and Boston reaping the benefits and will for a number of years.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 7:46 PM
Sadly for SEMO it seems like it may get worse before better. Two more transfers, if what I'm getting from the original articles is correct, will only further hurt their APR.
Can anyone who understands it better help me with that??
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 18, 2017, at 11:51 PM
The only people hurt by the joke of the APR are the Kids who are in good academic standing with the university. Especially kids who go to college to get a degree and play ball.

Bron
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Fri, May 19, 2017, at 11:57 PM
Haha!! No doubt and didn't even make top 3 in MVP voting...????
-- Posted by IndianPride on Sat, May 20, 2017, at 1:42 AM
I don't care who wins the award. Lebron is the best player and most valuable player in the NBA. Tonight was a total annihilation.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Sat, May 20, 2017, at 1:58 AM
A major travesty, but he'll be Finals MVP if there is such a thing!
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Sat, May 20, 2017, at 9:25 AM
Agreed Buck and ciri! He will be Finals MVP, the one that really matters! The worst thing for the other teams was for him to not make the top 3, he will be on a mission now.
-- Posted by IndianPride on Sat, May 20, 2017, at 11:38 AM
Jontay to Mizzou. Didn't say which year though
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Mon, May 22, 2017, at 7:12 PM
Cryptic...😐
-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, May 22, 2017, at 7:19 PM
Yeah! Prolly will be until after AAU like he said on reclass decision.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Mon, May 22, 2017, at 7:23 PM
I should add he's doing that because if he reclassified he couldn't continue the AAU season. His team is doing really well with chance to go to playoff PeachJam. Doesn't want to messs that up. That's why he's saying July
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Mon, May 22, 2017, at 7:27 PM
And dad gets to go to all the tournaments when it's not an evaluation period lol
-- Posted by The Deuce on Mon, May 22, 2017, at 7:43 PM
No for real, that really is an advantage lol. Was also able to mention him in interviews as a recruit when coaches are not allowed to mention any recruit by name
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Mon, May 22, 2017, at 7:44 PM
Well I love that he wants to stay with his team right now!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, May 22, 2017, at 7:49 PM
Be hard for him to get finals MVP when they lose the GS!!!
-- Posted by BIGELW on Tue, May 23, 2017, at 12:46 PM
Today is the last day to pull your name out of the NBA draft. Some big decisions for championship caliber teams. UK waiting on Diallo's decision.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, May 24, 2017, at 8:39 AM
Guess I should have checked first, UNC was one of the teams I had in mind. Tony Bradley is remaining in the draft, will hire agent.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, May 24, 2017, at 8:41 AM
Hey Biggie, See:
Last year!! 😂
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Wed, May 24, 2017, at 9:07 AM
James wasn't the reason they won that game last night.
-- Posted by BIGELW on Wed, May 24, 2017, at 1:09 PM
Kyrie is a beast. He is probably the best 1 on 1 player in the league. But I crack up at all the Lebron haters. Lebron is the reason why Kyrie is who he is.
-- Posted by ozzyandharriet on Wed, May 24, 2017, at 1:43 PM
Kyrie would be who he is on any team.
-- Posted by BIGELW on Wed, May 24, 2017, at 3:09 PM
No, he clearly would not. If he played on a bad team he would be guarded totally different on ball screens. Anyone's game is going I be elevated if they play with the best player in the world.
-- Posted by ozzyandharriet on Wed, May 24, 2017, at 7:19 PM
From some of the recent responses I'm wondering who you all think is the best player in the NBA right now?
Not the MVP of this year but the best player...
-- Posted by IndianPride on Wed, May 24, 2017, at 10:29 PM
Diallo returning!!! Waited all stinkin day (Lexington on ET, he had 15 minutes left). Big piece UK needed
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, May 24, 2017, at 10:47 PM
Diallo by far tested best of everyone at NBA draft combine. Freak athlete, 6'5 with almost a 7 foot wingspan
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, May 24, 2017, at 10:48 PM
Good news on Diallo!! Will be fun to see him in Blue!!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 6:35 AM
He's one of the best on ball screens how would they guard him different if they go under he shoots it good enough to make them pay if they go over he's a top driver and finisher in the league. Pretty simple.
-- Posted by BIGELW on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 7:17 AM
Pippen was 2nd best player in league with MJ by his side. He disappeared post-MJ. Kyrie's great but sans Le Bron he would def be less great.
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 9:39 AM
Good grief if Kyrie played on a bad team he would very obviously get more bodies thrown at him on the drive and he would be forced to pass more. The other times they would sell out and double him on the ball screen. With the 24 second clock and lesser teammates he would still be really good, but not like he is playing with the best player in the world and other guys like Love and Korver who can shoot it.
-- Posted by ozzyandharriet on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 2:30 PM
Agree with Kyrie needing LeBron and Michael needed Scottie!
But Jordan also didn't win a championship until Scottie came along, if memory serves correctly...
Jordan still the best of all time imho though!!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 4:08 PM
That's the same reason why James is as good as he is.Jordan had Pippen and James has had 2 HOF players at his side on the heat and the Cabs. Personally all the players today are whinny little *******.
-- Posted by BIGELW on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 8:44 PM
BIGELW! Absolutely agree about the whining and complaining on every little thing! Please just get back and play D!!
I wonder how many of these guys could have survived the old days and that kind of physicality?
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 9:11 PM
Lebron passes Jordan for most postseason points in NBA history
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 9:21 PM
Not very many IMO.
-- Posted by BIGELW on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 9:22 PM
Not many at all BigE!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 10:28 PM
Buck! Great info! Surprised he has passed MJ in playoff points in that amount of time.
-- Posted by IndianPride on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 10:35 PM
He has played over 30 more games than MJ did.
-- Posted by BIGELW on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 11:04 PM
Lebron did it with 120 less shots and did it in one less season. We can both articulate our arguments, but no right answer will be agreed upon (and I think MJ is better, just saying the game thing doesn't mean much, MJ took more shots. Lebron is also head of MJ in assists, rebounds, and steals)
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Thu, May 25, 2017, at 11:17 PM
James benefits from the way the games called today along with everybody else that plays today. I sure would've like to have seen James and some of these other guys take to the rack for a dunk against the bad boys and most of all the teams of years past.
-- Posted by BIGELW on Fri, May 26, 2017, at 3:53 PM
Lebron would be the same player in 1990 that he is today. For one thing, he is as big as most centers that played during that time. All great players who attack the rim benefit from the lack of physicality in today's game compared to 30 years ago.
I crack up at the effort some of people go through to disparage a sure fire top 3 all time player.
-- Posted by ozzyandharriet on Fri, May 26, 2017, at 6:11 PM
I said all the players benefit with this wussy NBA game today. I agree he would be able to play in that time also but he's not the GOAT!!!
-- Posted by BIGELW on Fri, May 26, 2017, at 8:18 PM
Did anyone just see the SVP flashback to 1987 of Boston vs. Detroit?
Man what a difference from then to now.
Good or Bad difference in the way the game was played and officiated?
Personally I like the old school.
-- Posted by IndianPride on Fri, May 26, 2017, at 11:57 PM
I dont remember Wilt or Kareem leading fast breaks, shootn 28ft bombs, or playing perimeter D all game long, so you can put them below The King. MJ and the Bron....UBA. The Universal Basketball Assoc.

Book it

-- Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, May 31, 2017, at 2:20 PM
Hey Buck guess who reclassified today? Ya Jontay Porter he will be on the Court this yr with his Brother! Hmmmm believe me now?
-- Posted by Bleed Green 2 on Wed, May 31, 2017, at 6:28 PM
He hasn't made an official decision yet, those reports jumped the gun a bit. They just qualified for peach jam, the march madness super bowl of AAU. Anybody who's anybody will be there. He won't reclassify until after that
Haha and I never said I didn't believe you bleed lol! I fully expect him to reclassify. I just said he hadn't done it way back earlier because it would disqualify him from AAU. So if that's the belief part, I'm not believing the one you put up today because he's still got tournaments to play. Now if he comes out tomorrow and days he's done playing and skipping AAU, then I'll be totally wrong and admit it lol. We are both in total agreement and have been, just not on timetables
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Wed, May 31, 2017, at 7:54 PM
Buck is correct. He will be in a Mizzou Tiger uniform this fall but it will not be official until after the peach jam.
-- Posted by The Deuce on Wed, May 31, 2017, at 8:15 PM
The last 5 star, Brian Bowen, has committed to Louisville. Big surprise get for Louisville. Was rumored for a few days he was going there because a Brian Bowen was showing up on rosters for summer classes and was enrolled. But as of a few days ago, big surprise in a really strange recruitment.
Javon Pickett has committed to Mizzou. Was committed to IL along with Tilmon. Although, Pickett is reclassifying backwards, doing a year of prep school, and will join Miz in 2018.

Just saw on Twitter that Marcedus Leech will be taking an unofficial visit to Kentucky this Friday
-- Posted by semo501 on Wed, Jun 28, 2017, at 9:10 PM
He will be you are correct. They've showed some interest now that Coach Cal made Justus a coach to scout kids younger than junior year. He also said Kentucky is his dream school. Sounded like if he gets an offer he might be UK bound

Hey Buck!! Any UK buzz about Leech after his visit??
-- Posted by IndianPride on Sat, Jul 1, 2017, at 7:43 PM
I just don't see him being Kentucky type unless he has upgraded his defense since I've seen him. But I didn't see him at all last year

But, I wouldn't bet on it. All these "U whatever" games are pretty much always just on Youtube. However, they may have commentary as the knockout round progresses
-- Posted by semo501 on Sun, Jul 2, 2017, at 2:26 AM
Ciri always has to inject politics into his analysis! He needs to leave that Trump crap for the coffee shops and stick to the topic discussed!
-- Posted by indian73 on Sun, Jul 2, 2017, at 5:47 PM
No, I haven't heard any buzz yet IP. Still a little early. Leech barely played last year, he will need to have a big year to earn the scholarship. The one fortunate thing for him is the 2018 guard class is phenomenal. Probably whoever U.K. Brings in guardwise will be lottery picks. So the 2019 class will certainly have some guard opportunities. I would say he just needs to become a consistent 3 point shooter. The D will come, and coach Cal has recruited some big time 3 point shooter who can't guard (I mean him improving his D certainly won't hurt, but won't be a hinging factor)

With Peach Jam wrapping up soon, it will be Jontay Porter decision time. It seems he will almost certainly join Miizou this year with their free scholarship.

And Thank you Buck!! Will the porter infusion be enough to get Mizzou back to relevance or just a short term situation??
-- Posted by IndianPride on Fri, Jul 14, 2017, at 10:41 PM
Well Martin has certainly been hitting the AAU circuit hard. Watched all of Bradley Beal Elite games (formerly St Louis Eagles). Just because Tatum left they've still got some ballers. Last few years they've all gone to neighboring states except states expect Tatum. So Michael will certainly be short term, and they are going to have to come out fighting and give it all they've got this year short term. But Porter and Tilmon shouldn't be one and dones, and him coming on board this year gives those two more years to play together. I see them being Mizzous future with Martin adding better guards.

Hey of UK interest Immanuel Quickley has been seen for months as a big Kentucky lean, he's No. 10 in nation and #2 point guard in the country, and will probably be our first commit. Well of late there has been a ton of buzz about him and Zion Williamson playing together in college. Zion is the one who's had all the viral dunks. If you haven't seen him, you really really need to YouTube the videos. He's been on the front of Slam Magazine, Drake has worn his high school jersey, he's blown up. He's No.2 player in the country. UK hasn't missed a game. Would love to have them both at Kentucky

Good to be back IP!! Yes, Zou is certain to crack .500 this year, but when we lose our best recruiters after the season it should be interesting.
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Sat, Jul 15, 2017, at 9:38 AM
Hey Buck, will Jontay be good enuf to be one and done? And according to Bogey, he has just announced he is joining Zou this season!
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Sat, Jul 15, 2017, at 11:54 AM
No I don't think so. Of course anyone can be one and done, some U.K. guys I think should have stayed. But, I think he will be a multi year player. But he hasn't announced that yet, I fully expect him to, but he still has Peach Jam games left. So no official announcement yet
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Sat, Jul 15, 2017, at 1:27 PM
Brad Beal Elite moving on to the semifinals. They drew a favorable side of the bracket with tradional AAU teams like the Oakland Soldiers (team Lebron played for), and Each 1 Teach 1 on the other side. Missouri still has some ballers. Mizzou needs to get some. SLU will do what they can to stop that and have thus far.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Sat, Jul 15, 2017, at 1:36 PM
Oops ur rite, my bad, Bogey just said he was "cleared" to play this year
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Sat, Jul 15, 2017, at 2:01 PM
I was coming to make a Jontay post, and as you can see the last convo on this thread was about him... 3 weeks ago. I'll say I am pretty surprised we haven't heard anything yet. I mean it's August, class starts in just a couple weeks. Most schools have had their whole team on campus for a month and a half. Couple scenarios could be taking place. He wants to reclassify and is currently scrambling to get some credits in, and just hasn't completed the course work yet, and doesn't want to decide until he has for sure passed the exams. Or obviously it could be that he is not going to reclassify. I guess we will just wait and see.
Marvin Bagley the No. 1 player in 2018 is taking visits and submitted paperwork to reclassify to play this year. He would compete with MPJr. for #1 pick next year. Many think MB is more athletic and he can create his own shot better than MPJr. can. There are some questions about completion level for MB. Again, if hes going to do it a decision will need to be made soon to get enrolled in fall classes.

Havnt heard much about this dude but the Porter Bros recruiting train just keeps on steaming along:
COLUMBIA, MO. • Whitfield School shooting guard Torrence Watson, the area's top scorer last season, committed to Ohio State this summer, changed his mind last month and now has a new destination. The four-star prospect has committed to Missouri's 2018 class, he announced Friday on Twitter.
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Sat, Sep 9, 2017, at 9:44 AM
Any chance Marcedus Leech could go to Mizzou
-- Posted by Kennett fan on Sat, Sep 9, 2017, at 9:57 AM
Watson is the star player for the Whitfield team that knocked Saxony out of the playoffs last year. He went for about 30 that day and he can light it up, scoring from all 3 levels
But this is Cuonzo's specialty: getting stud players to come play for him. As always the question will be if he can build a consistent winning program and get his players to play together and reach the peak of their potential.
So I'd say there's definitely a chance Leech goes to Missouri, especially if Martin makes him a priority (unless he get's that UK offer he wants)
-- Posted by semo501 on Sat, Sep 9, 2017, at 10:32 PM
Watson is very good ciri, that is a nice addition for Mizzou.
semo501 makes a great point. That is Cuonzo's specialty. He can get the guys, now he just needs to put them all together. Michael will be gone by the time Watson ends up on campus, but Porter Lite should still be there. But Andreson knew the x's and o's, but he couldn't get the dudes. Id rather have the dudes, it will be interesting to see what he can build.
Great question Kennett fan, heres my take. As semo said, sure, there is a chance. But, I've read just about all the interviews with Leech and he doesn't mention Mizzou much at all. Now, that doesn't really mean much either haha. I know AAU gets knocked, but I'm gonna keep saying it over and over that that is where the recruiting and rankings take place. And Leech not playing much last year due to injury, and not really any AAU at all, he may not get that UK offer (and others on that similar level). UK has passed on several awesome 5 star shooting guards in the 2018 class. Calipari really really focuses in on about 3 guys for each position. It's hard to make the cut of being on of those. He doesn't just offer up a bunch of scholarships. There are other schools that take this tactic too. So in conclusion, what I'm saying is Leech needs to have a big high school year AND a big AAU year. If not, Mizzou may be one of his best offers. And nothing wrong with that! I just think it's a bit early to know if they have a chance, but right now I don't think Mizzou is a heavy target on Leech's radar.

Not 100% sure but I heard Leech broke his leg a couple weeks back.

Early signing period ended yesterday. Some big names came of the board, but not as many as last year. I think more kids are waiting to see how rosters shake out after the season. As I've said for a couple years, this years NBA draft overall will be much weaker than the last several years, or the next few to come. So more kids are going to be sticking in school for more than one year.
Here is Kentucky's early signing class, which is ranked #2 in the nation.
Keldon Johnson - No. 7 in nation, SG/SF
Immanuel Quickley - No. 8 in nation, No. 2 PG
Tyler Herro - No. 27 in nation, No. 4 SG

Bahaha Lavar just yanked his son off the Ucla hoops team, blaming them for his poor son’s treatment after he looted in China. Always the victim.....
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Mon, Dec 4, 2017, at 5:10 PM
So true ciri. Fortunately Lavar has become easy for me to ignore!
-- Posted by IndianPride on Mon, Dec 4, 2017, at 5:17 PM
Heard he's leaving UCLA to take the Tennessee job.
No in all seriousness, what a crazy deal. People can make the argument (and have made) that he's just looking out for his kids and supporting them. But he can still be a looney toon. And people can say hey he's marketing himself and making a lot of money. But there are a lot of crazy people with money in this world. No amount of money would make me want to be perceived (or really am) as a complete and total irrational goof ball.
He's pulled Melo out of high school to homeschool him after disagreements with the school. Now he's pull LiAngelo out of college to homecollege him because of disagreements with the school surrounding his kid shoplifting in one of the most oppressive communist countries in the world. And now the Laker's have implemented the "Lavar Rule" where media members are no longer allowed to interview player's guests after Lonzo's games.
The sad thing about it is LiAngelo has no chance, no no no chance of being drafted. Playing for a college team would have been really valuable for him. And no way Melo will be illegible for UCLA after all the things they've already done such as used his likeness, signature shoe, autograph tours, etc. And I'm not real sure he's an NBA player either. Not with the body of work he will have. Too risky. Just an unfortunate situation.
-- Posted by BuckMajor on Tue, Dec 5, 2017, at 11:46 AM
Ur rite, he isnt even an NBA consideration at this point:
From StL PD-
"We get back over here and the consequences were even stiffer than China. So basically they're in jail here."
And . . .
"I'm going to make him way better for the draft than UCLA ever could have. He's not transferring to another school. The plan is now to get Gelo ready for the NBA draft."
That will be a heavy lift. "He's not on any of our scouting lists — even the extended lists," one NBA general manager told ESPN.
So this withdrawal is no great loss for UCLA.
Younger brother LaMelo could become a NBA player like big brother Lonzo. But his personal sneaker deal and his dad's antics make it unlikely LaMelo will play at UCLA or anywhere else on his way to the pros.
Also, he better develop a better-looking jumper than that thing Lonzo is launching at the rim these days.

Yeah that's a great write up.

SAY GOOD-BYE TO THE BALL BROTHERS
Carnival barker LaVar Ball has shipped his youngest sons off to Lithuania to play low-level pro basketball, thus eliminating them from the college basketball landscape.
There isn't a coach in America decrying that decision.
LiAngelo, who was a freshman at UCLA, and LaMelo, who was a junior at Chico Hills High School, have signed with BC Prienai, LiAngelo isn't regarded as an NBA prospect, while LaMelo will need to play three years in Europe before becoming eligible to play in the Association.
LaVar confirmed the signing via Twitter: "It's not about the money for the Ball Brothers. They have a passion to play Basketball and to experience playing as pros was the Goal. They have accomplished this mission and are excited to be playing on the same team to top it off. The Big Baller way!"

Good riddance.

Gonna add some notes that I have seen since this Lithuania deal went down haha. These are not my words, just a summarization of articles I've read.
The head coach doesn't speak english, so that'll be interesting. But I've heard that an assistant does and maybe a couple of players can.
For those not familiar, Lithuania is cold. UCLA campus today, 83 degrees.
They will not be living in the town the team plays in, because apparently the VILLAGE where the team is located has no restaurants, stores, business, etc. But it does look like the place they will stay is really really nice. That was one of only two things they asked for in the contract, 2 bd room apartment and the other being a car with automatic transmission. With them having lambos and ferraris I didn't know that one would be an issue.
This is pretty much being labeled as a commercial for this Lithuanian team. They head of the organization continually mentioned the words advertisement, and that he hoped this helped the club financially. He is also offering a logo sponsor spot on the front of the jersey to an American company.
The contract states it can be broken by the club after just a month if they aren't pleased.
Now the mayor of the village has even had to release statements because he's getting so much negative feedback and so many people questioning if the town even has internet access. Which he replied they have very good internet.

The Lithuanian coach is bummin!! Lavar will be hatin on him bigtime in no time.
-- Posted by cirithungol17 on Tue, Dec 12, 2017, at 12:49 PM
One pair of big baller brand shoes costs half the average monthly salary of a Lithuanian resident.
As far as salary, from what I've seen the best players in this league make around $500 a month. Some have suggested the Balls may be playing for free.

The gym capacity is 1500. Town population is 9500ish. Nice move Lavar👍👍

So would Zou be undefeated so far if MP Jr were healthy and playing since the first game? Food for thought...

Everything I've read has Mark Smith to Illinois or Michigan State. Tilmon is still likely going to Mizzou, Jontay is likely going to reclassify because it sounds like Knox is leaning heavily towards Duke.
